The set up is 3 tiers of mirrors, each mirror is at a slightly different angle. Set up takes approximately 5 minutes.

3 people stand facing the mirrors

Each person sees a "trisected person" -- a person that is 1/3 his/her own body and 1/3 the bodies of the other 2 people

Kids can do it too by using a step stool of some kind

Fun for all and gets strangers interacting together.

Some observations:

• I had hoped people would just see the "x" on the ground and know instinctively what to do, but may just walked past.
• So then using just the words "Stand here" and 3 arrows got people to do it but there were still problems in that a single person didn't realize that 3 people were needed for the effect to work, so the single person stood on one of the Xs, glanced into the mirrors and walked away, without the effect.
• Also, short people (kids) were a problem in that even with the milk crate some were too short to make it worked. I would need to provide higher steeping stool options and directions to use them.
• Worked great for groups of teenage girls who love anything with mirrors in general and then being able to combine with each other. Brought much delighted giggle.
• Also worked great for mom/dad/ older (at least 8) kid.
• The people would talk when they did it like -- "I've got Mom's head, Jason's body and my legs -- What do you have?" And then everyone would trade "X"s to see all the diferent combinations.
